This includes conventional as well as non-conventional resources of energy. It is actually utilization of all possible and useful resources for the production of electrical Power.

Ever growing demands at national and international level have emerged the new field of Energy technology.

A new four-year under graduate programme is offered at UET Lahore from the academic session 2007 and onwards in the field of Energy and Power Engineering.

Purpose of Energy and Power Engineering:

The purpose of bachelor degree programme in Energy and Power Engineering is to hence provide state of the art education in the field of sustainable conventional, non-conventional and renewable energy resources and their proper and economical utilization to generate electrical power.
